Our home offers everything you’d expect from an upscale getaway — comfort, design, privacy, and personal touches — but we’ve built it around values that matter. Sustainability isn’t just a detail here — it’s part of the design.

We’ve made conscious choices in everything from the products we use to the people we work with. We only stock our home with Raw Botanicals, a Costa Rican brand that creates biodegradable, plant-based bath products — good for you and safe for the environment. Behind the walls, we’ve installed energy-efficient magnet systems to reduce unnecessary power use without compromising your comfort.

But it’s not just about what happens in the house. Our chefs work with local farmers and fishermen to source fresh, seasonal ingredients — not only to serve you better food, but to support the hands that grow and catch it. Our landscaping follows sustainable reforestation practices, choosing native plants that help restore the local ecosystem while keeping the property lush and beautiful.

We also work closely with the community. We hire local — always. From housekeeping and chefs to guides and spa therapists, your stay directly supports families in the Manuel Antonio area. The supplies we stock come from small, locally-owned businesses, and the tours we recommend are with local operators who give back to their communities. We also actively support locally owned restaurants and encourage our guests to explore their offerings.

You’ll also notice what we don’t do. We never feed wild animals or encourage unsafe wildlife interactions — because respecting nature means giving it space to thrive. That’s also why you might spot trees we’ve helped plant as part of ongoing reforestation efforts in the region.
